The chrysanthemum is one of the four “noble” plants of Chinese iconography. It symbolises long life and prosperity. In these porcelain jars the traditional cobalt blue glaze is overlaid d with the white glaze depicting the traditional motif in highlight. These pieces are beautifully scaled and are timeless works of art.
