From Usak village in West Turkey comes this fine kilim made from handspun and handwoven sheep’s wool. It is a singular design heavily reliant on organic symbols, human and in nature, depicted in strong linear forms and dramatic juxtaposition of strong blues and earth tones. It is also a practical floor covering in any room providing a visual artistic interest.

Care Instructions
Vacuum regularly to avoid dust build up. Washing natural dyed fibres requires gentle handling to avoid colour fading or bleeding. Start by hand washing the rug in cold water using a mild detergent and avoiding harsh chemicals. Avoid wringing the rugs and instead gently squeeze out excess water. Rinse thoroughly in cold water and then lay flat to air dry. Avoid exposing the fabric to direct sunlight or high heat, as this can cause further fading or damage to the fabric.
